After investigating the auction here in Phoenix, I would use the bidding service everytime.  It is just to difficult to research everything AND win the bid if you are doing all the work yourself.

		<description>I couldn&#039;t agree more with you... My wife and I have bought a few properties we fixed up and are renting out (well 2 of 3, one is up for sale) this year at the auction on the county courthouse front steps.

We ended up using a bid service and paid them a couple thousand dollars per property cause we found out that just because you bid, doesn&#039;t mean your going to win... we bid 20 times before we landed one, so the live auction bid service was a great value.</description>
